I got a day out with one of my best girlfriends...doesn't get better than pedicures, dinner out, and a movie with wine sleepover! :)

We have had friends over to play, and even spend the night!

Nathan started a dance class. It is hit or miss whether he actually participates. Sometimes the promise of ice cream after is quite the motivator! :)

Luke started a tumbling class and loves it!

Big news of March was Ian's 1st birthday!! He sure is growing up. He is walking now, starting to talk a little, and is still so very friendly. He is such a great go with the flow, happy little guy! He and one of his best friends, Violet, celebrated their birthdays together. It was so cute!

We made one last trip to the Children's Museum since our pass was expiring. Ian really got into it this time.

And...trips to the beach have begun! Yay!! The boys have such a fun time and it is totally worth the clean up effort afterwards. :)

Build A Bear!

Almost exactly two years ago (on a Sunday again :)), I took Luke and BABY Nate to get Luke a bear from Build a Bear at the mall. So fun! The post about it is here. Well, we had another gift card...last Sunday we went again! This time, Nathan got to build a bear and big brother just helped! He had so much fun! Luke had built a dinosaur that got an outfit, but Nathan chose a panda bear and he put a voice into it and a beating heart. I love that sometimes they are okay that they don't have exactly the same thing as their brother...

Enjoy!

Our first trip to the ER...

was not too bad. Nathan fell on a chair Sunday night and had a little cut by his eye. We actually weren't sure if we should even take him in to the ER, but his Dr. said if it was gaping open at all (and being on the face) we should go ahead and have it closed up. So...off we went, arriving at Children's Hospital at 8 pm. They got us back to the room pretty quickly, but it took about 3 hours after that to get us home. We ended up leaving around 12:20 am. Long night for all of us! As you can see in the picture, Nate was in great spirits. (at one point I told him to stop laughing and start crying so maybe they would come tend to him -don't think we were a priority :)) The only time he cried was when she actually cleaned and glued up the wound. He was such a trooper! For our first trip to the ER, it was not too stressful, thank goodness!!

Nate's 1st Haircut!

Nate had his first official haircut last week. He did a great job and I think it came out really well! What a big boy!
