Where has the month gone?? I cannot believe it is almost Christmas and we will be in Texas soon-yay!! I have to catch up before going so that I can flood the blog with pics from Texas when we return. :) Here is the month in review so far...

Luke's school had their annual La Posada and his class was Angels. :) We also went out to dinner and visited some fun Christmas lights with Melody:

Halloween Weekend

Halloween weekend was different this year...

We celebrated a friend's 4th birthday and Ian LOVED Pooh!

We had Ian baptized...third one to wear the gown that my mother made. (originally for Luke) His Godparents are Christy and Chris. Chris was not able to be here, so Anthony stood in as the proxy Godfather. :)

We ended the weekend trick or treating with friends. Luke and Nathan originally wanted to be Buzz and Woody and Ian was to be the alien. However, they decided to be Batman and Mr. Incredible for trick or treating...costumes we just had for dress up. They love to dress up!

Growing Up...

Too Fast!!

Ian has been growing with leaps and bounds! In the last month, he has started solids, learned to crawl up on his knees (instead of army crawling), started pulling up to standing and beginning to cruise. This morning, for breakfast, he had eggs and bananas. Wow! (looks like no egg allergies :))

Four of us among our friends were pregnant with our 2nd or 3rd...here is picture in birth order. Notice that the oldest (Ian) has the least amount of hair...the hair amount increases with a decrease in age!

Go Padres!!

We decided to take the boys to a Padres game this year-fun! However, the game times are almost all at 1pm or 7pm...naptime and bedtime around here. :( I hunted for the first 5:30 game I could find and snagged tickets for about 17 of us-we love big groups of friends!! At Petco Park, there is a section behind center field that has a giant sandbox at the bottom for the kids to play during the game and fabulous amphitheater-ish seating. It was perfect! EXCEPT...Fox decided to air the September games, which meant that all 5:30 games became 1pm games. Ugh! Now I am sure that all of my friends and family in Texas will have no sympathy for us, but it was about 90 degrees that day. SOOOO Hot! We were right in the sun until we found a little section of shade at the end of our row and several of us huddled in it. :) The kids had a blast and so did we! We rode the trolley and ended up stopping in Old Town with some of the friends on the way home for dinner and margaritas! Doesn't get much better than that!! The kids even did okay without their normal naps...phew!
