SOOOOO Behind... January, February, and March

I have gotten so behind on this blog. So, here is a major update with highlights from the last few months. Sorry!!

We have celebrated some birthdays...

Got to see an old friend in town for a visit...

Corey and his dad took the big boys to the air show on Coronado Island.

We went to Legoland again. :)

Made a few trips to Sea World.

We have been to many playdates at the park.

I got a day out with one of my best girlfriends...doesn't get better than pedicures, dinner out, and a movie with wine sleepover! :)

We have had friends over to play, and even spend the night!

Nathan started a dance class. It is hit or miss whether he actually participates. Sometimes the promise of ice cream after is quite the motivator! :)

Luke started a tumbling class and loves it!

Big news of March was Ian's 1st birthday!! He sure is growing up. He is walking now, starting to talk a little, and is still so very friendly. He is such a great go with the flow, happy little guy! He and one of his best friends, Violet, celebrated their birthdays together. It was so cute!

We made one last trip to the Children's Museum since our pass was expiring. Ian really got into it this time.

And...trips to the beach have begun! Yay!! The boys have such a fun time and it is totally worth the clean up effort afterwards. :)

Christmas Already?

Around here it is! We have had a holiday cookie exchange, a Christmas potluck, and even celebrated Christmas with the Fuzak family before we head off to Texas to celebrate with the Browns.

The boys had a blast at the cookie exchange hosted by Dana-so much fun! Steve from Hullabaloo came and the kids LOVED it! How nice to have a private concert! I did have to wrangle Ian quite a bit, but the overalls worked great for that.

Christmas Potluck:

Christmas with the Fuzak family was great. Luke got his coveted Iron Man costume and accessories and Nate got a piano to jam on-heaven for both! Ian just wants to dance to Nate's music. No really, Ian got a fabulous xylophone so that he can play with Nate. :) Other highlights were watches from their cousins-now we just have to learn how to tell time!

We had a Christmas pajama playdate today and made gingerbread (graham cracker) houses with some of our good friends. The boys had a great time decorating, until Mom's shoddy construction fell apart. Oh well-fun to eat afterwards...or during if you are Nathan.

Where has the month gone?? I cannot believe it is almost Christmas and we will be in Texas soon-yay!! I have to catch up before going so that I can flood the blog with pics from Texas when we return. :) Here is the month in review so far...

December Nights at Balboa Park:

Menorah lighting at Chabad Hebrew Academy with Jerry and Rita. (our neighbors) They even had snow brought in and the boys got to try sledding. Luke loved it!

We celebrated a couple of 4th birthday parties:

Luke's school had their annual La Posada and his class was Angels. :) We also went out to dinner and visited some fun Christmas lights with Melody:

Ian discovered that he loves riding the fire truck with Nathan and loves playing (torturing) with Violet.

We visited the schools I used to teach at and got to climb all over the new iguana at Ibarra.

We had a fabulous time visiting Legoland with the Fuzaks and Virtues-such a fun place!!
