Long Post...Gotta Catch Up!!

I am going to put about 6 weeks of activities into one post...here goes!

We went to San Francisco in August with some dear friends and had a great time! We were there for 4 nights and got to see lots of sights. The boys did a great job traveling and staying in the hotel...even though we had some early mornings. They were champs with the late nights and took great naps!

Waiting to take off and on the bus in San Francisco:

We had a dear friend move to Oregon recently and these are a few events we had to say goodbye :( In order: Coronado Island Concert in the Park, Beach Bonfire (just the mommas!), and feeding the ducks at Lake Murray:

Luke will sure miss his girlfriend, Tati!

We also had friends over to swim on Labor Day...beautiful weather and a great time! The boys are becoming real fish...hopefully they won't lose it over the winter months!

Nathan's 1st Flight!

We flew to Texas last week for my cousin's wedding. It was beautiful and will be the focus of a future post!

This was Nathan's first time on an airplane-he did great! Luckily we had my cousin, Melody, flying with us to help out with TWO lap children-she is the best!! Luke of course fell asleep on the runway right after we landed in Dallas. Nathan slept off and on during the flight-no problems!

On the way back things were not so smooth. Our flight was supposed to leave at 6:15pm and they announced right after the plane arrived at the gate that the fuel tank was leaking and we would have to get a new plane. Of course! We took off around 9:15 pm instead...lots of fun entertaining Luke in the airport! DFW does have a great skytrain that we rode around the airport to entertain Luke and get us moving. Thank goodness for that! We finally got in around 10:30 pm here, 12:30am Texas time-ugh! Everyone was exhausted...of course, the partying all weekend in Dallas did not help! It took us several days to get caught up on our sleep.
