We headed out to Texas on the 26th and had a wonderful time visiting with family there. It was a two day drive each way, but the boys handled it beautifully!

We had a visit one evening from a fire truck when my father had a smoke issue while cooking steaks...the firemen were soooo nice and even let the kiddos check out the fire truck for a few minutes. Very exciting!! It was pretty funny that one of the firemen graduated high school with me-life in a small town. :)
We went up to Dallas for a long weekend while in Texas and got to hook up with a couple of my best friends. So nice to let the kiddos play and catch up with each other! Never feels like too much time has passed!
We also got to see lots of extended family while in Dallas-so nice that we are able to get there at least once a year and see everyone!
