We had such a fun, busy weekend. Get ready!
Friday night, we decided to head down to the La Mesa Oktoberfest on the trolley-the boys loved it! Well, at least they loved the trolley rides and the ice cream they got after dinner. :)
Luke had a soccer game on Saturday morning and he sat on my lap for the first half and did not want to play at all. Something happened at halftime (must have been the orange slices) and he got out on the field and ran after the ball almost the entire second half. He really is improving with each Saturday!
After the soccer game, we headed up to Hermosa Beach for an afternoon birthday party. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful park. Perfect for a 1st birthday! This momma went all out with amazing decorations, a cupcake bar, yummy lunch, and amazing treat bags with homemade goodies for each kiddo-wow! She even had treat bags for the adults...so impressive!
Sunday morning, we headed out early for the Miramar Airshow. It is one of Corey's favorite things to attend and we go every year. This year, we took our friend, Anna, with us and the kiddos had a great time exploring the helicopters and airplanes, watching the Canadian Snowbirds perform, and listening the Marine band. Fun was had by all, not just Daddy!
This is probably my favorite picture of the day...Corey coming out of the C-5 with his brood of kiddos. So cute!
