Some things stick and some don't...

So...I finally updated my fridge pictures and put all the new Christmas card pics up-yay! These are the bulk of them...a few are on the other side. Every year I put up the new ones and take down the old ones to put in my scrapbook. I just love seeing everyone's pictures all year long!
Please notice that the front of our fridge is not magnetic (or the pics would be there). The one picture you see on the front is actually taped up. This leads to my dilemma of what to do with all the fridge magnetic toys the boys have. In the past, I had them in metal lunch boxes, but I felt like they were not visible so they were not played with very much. See below for the solution!

Yesterday, I went to Home Depot and made my own magnetic bulletin board! (they are not cheap to buy in the stores) I actually made two because the sheet metal that I bought was big enough to cut in half and make two. I think I will put it in the boys' room whenever they move into their new room. I cut the sheet metal, bought a clear poster frame (perfectly sized at 18"x24") and framed the sheet metal. Then I just hung it on the wall with a nail and some adhesive picture hanging tape so that the boys couldn't move it around. It worked perfectly!! My solution to a non-magnetic fridge. :)
