Saturday- we had a family birthday party at Corey's cousin's condo. Luke had a great time by the pool, which became even better when a little girl handed out ice cream cones to all the kids-he sure did enjoy that! The three girls are Tamara, Esmeralda, and Laura-don't they just look so pretty- I love this pic!
Sunday- Corey helped a friend move up to the Temecula area. I decided to try to do all the fun, but sometimes difficult, things I could think of with two little people all in one day! We met my friend, Colleen, and her two kids at the trolley station that morning for a trolley ride to Fashion Valley mall. Luke has been wanting to ride a "train" for a very long time. He LOVED it!! He had received a gift card to the Build a Bear store for his birthday so we went straight to that store. He had a great time and ended up building a dinosaur that he dressed in a "SuperDino" costume, complete with a mask-it is too funny! In the pictures: they are stuffing the dinosaur, putting a heart inside, and the last one is the car ride home-he was exhausted after all the excitement!
That evening (again feeling brave), I took the boys to the concert in the park on Coronado Island. We met lots of our friends there and it was really nice- perfect weather and not too crowded! Luke had such a great time with all his girlfriends (yes, he was the only toddler boy!). They were running and about every five feet they would all lay down and "go to sleep". It was hilarious to watch them all jump up, run, and all fall down to sleep!
Monday was pretty quiet. I went up to LAX to pick up my friend, Tonya, who was flying back from Australia with her three kiddos. I swear she is superwoman flying with a 12 year old and 23 month old twins! Corey had the two boys all day and they played around here and went grocery shopping. I think it is hilarious that some lady commented that she was impressed with him at the grocery store with the two boys. Hello, do I not do stuff like that everyday and nobody ever says anything to me! :) That was our labor day weekend-lots of randomness!

I am pretty sure that all the kids running around and "sleeping" was one of the funniest things I have ever seen!! Luke was a great ring leader even though his followers weren't so good at following :)
I have to agree with Ashley...the running and "sleeping" picture is too darn cute and was SO FUN to watch!!
Hope you are well!! see you soon!
I love that pic of them all laying on the ground at the concert. Such sweet kids.
